In 2023, Children's Village received $6000 from the community through the East Texas Giving Day.

This generosity allowed us to replace our old swing set, plant a butterfly garden, and install a deck with a built in sandbox to our gazebo. 

​

This year we have shifted our focus to the inside of our cottages. The children's bedrooms have not  been updated in decades.  Those in Cottage A look outdated. Those in Cottage B look bare.

 

Our goal for 2024 is to refresh all of our children's bedrooms with new paint, ceiling fans, beds, furniture, rugs, lamps, curtains, and other personal touches that makes a child's bedroom a place of comfort and relaxation.
